This guided ring carving workshop is an introduction to the ancient art of lost wax carving. 

Lost wax casting is an old and widely used technique in jewellery making. 

Marissa will guide you through every step of your creative journey in jewellery making. You will carve your design in jewellers wax, and understand the beautiful process of how it can be cast in metal.

By the end of the class, your unique piece will be completed, ready for casting. If you decide to go ahead with the casting of your design, you will receive your new ring in the post back to you, once polished.

WORKSHOP TIERS

• Workshop ticket - $90 This includes your experience, materials and tools, demonstration of tools and guidance through each step. Along with some snacks to keep you energised as you create.
• Workshop ticket and your ring cast in recycled sterling silver - $270 This is extra and includes your silver ring, cleaning up and polishing, size check, and postage back to you.

*If your ring weighs over 15g in silver there will be an extra charge that is determined by the weight of your finished ring.
